On Saturday 30th May 2026 we’re hosting our first Repair Café in our new premises at 19 Bank Street, Kirriemuir, DD8 4BE. This is during the weekend of Celebrate Kirriemuir, a new town-wide event initiated by Kirriemuir Development Trust and others. As this will be our first Repair Café for a few years, we are working on rebuilding a volunteer base who can help do simple repairs while showing others how to do them too. We would also like to reignite our Repair Directory for those who can offer repair services as part of their business. If you’d like to volunteer your time to this Repair Café or potential future cafés please submit a Volunteer Application Form. Likewise, if you are a business who does repairs (of anything!) please email us so we can add you to our directory, and signpost people to you who need more complex repairs done by a specialist.
For everyone else, why not have a rummage and see what you’ve got lurking in your house or garden that is longing to be brought back in to use. Drop in during our Repair Café, grab a brew and a biscuit, and hopefully we’ll have some handy volunteers to help get your item back into ship shape!
