About Us
Sustainable Kirriemuir is a grass-roots organisation which was formed by a group of local people in August 2019 who wanted to take positive community climate action. We have grown from a small seedling to a growing sapling with ambitious plans, and became a registered charity in August 2023. The vast majority of our members, and our board of trustees, all live in the local area. We created and launched our Strategic Plan 2023 – 2027 in 2023 which brings our vision and mission to life, and guides our current work.
