@ The Farm
What is the Community Farm?
In Winter 2024 we set out to build our most ambitious Food & Growing project yet, a 17-acre Community Farm at Sawmill Field, on Kinnordy Estate. The Farm is being designed as a living ecosystem – growing a variety of produce, regenerating soil, boosting biodiversity, strengthening local livelihoods, and bringing people together. You can find our farm using Google Maps or What3Words.
Stage 1 was building our 2-acre Market Garden, which we’re already planning to expand in 2027, after the success of our veg share scheme this year. It’s too late to sign up for a veg share for 2026 now, but if you’d like to get your hands on our delicious, nutritious, nature-friendly veg you can join our Produce WhatsApp group to see what’s available to buy each week. Collections are from the farm on Thursdays 3pm-5pm.
Collaborate With Us
As we start to plan Stage 2 of our Community Farm, expanding into the remaining acres of the field, we are keen to hear from projects or enterprises who are interested in working with us. Please read more about what we’re looking for here and complete an expression of interest form in the first instance.
We’re keen to supply local cafes, restaurants, and shops with our produce, so if you’re interested in us supplying your business, please get in touch.
Volunteer with Us
Volunteering days are held weekly on Thursdays 10am-3pm and the first Saturday of each month 10am-2pm. If you’d like to come along, please let us know at least 1 week before the date you’d like to start, by completing a Volunteer Application Form. This is to ensure we have a chance to review your application form and get in touch with some essential information first. It’s a great way to learn new skills, meet new people, and give back to your community.

Did you know…
A report from the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission, Farming for Change, revealed that agroecology can produce enough food to feed a healthy UK population whilst also reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from agriculture by at least 38% by 2050.
