Come along to our Community Garden Open Day to admire and enjoy the tranquil but productive hidden gem of Kirriemuir.
Our Community Garden is managed in a nature-friendly way, where creating habitats for wildlife is just as important as growing food for our local community. Come along to our Open Day to meet our volunteers and enjoy the fruits of their labour over the last year. Our Wild About Kirrie volunteers will be on hand with information about how to make your own outdoor space more nature-friendly. Our volunteer and herbalist Wendy will be there with her bespoke herbal tea blends. We’ll have some simple activities for kids, and Zoe, our Food & Growing Project Officer, will be there to talk about how you can get involved with our community garden. And of course, there’s always tea and cake!
Feel free to bring a picnic and picnic rug with you if you’d like to stick around for lunch in the sun!
