Come along to our Autumn Open Day to celebrate the season, and have a go at apple pressing!
Apple Day has always been a popular date in the SK diary, and this year we want to bring a smaller version of it to you in our new town centre location! Come and try your hand at preparing, pressing, and sampling our delicious Kirrie Apple Juice! Pasteurised bottles will be available to buy on the day, but if you’d like to buy any fresh, unpasteurised, juice please bring along a clean, lidded, bottle. We’ll also be selling lots of lovely produce from our Community Garden and Farm.
On the Day:
🍎 Learn about the juicing process and get involved!
🧁 Enjoy mulled apple juice, tea or coffee with some apple themed homemade cakes and bakes.
🧃 Buy our Kirriemuir Apple Juice and fresh produce from our Community Garden and Farm.
🛖 Help us choose a name for our town centre premises.
🏷️ Design the 2027 Kirrie Apple Juice label.
🎃 Guess the weight of the pumpkin.

We Are Looking For:
🍎 Donations of locally grown apples. If you have apples you’d like to donate please bring them along on the day.
🙋♀️ Volunteers to help on the day. We’ll be juicing apples, serving up drinks and cakes, and more. If you’d like to help out on the day, please email us at info@sustainablekirriemuir.co.uk by Wednesday 30th September.

Tickets
This event is drop-in, no need to book tickets.
Photography
We take photographs at our events to help promote our activities and impacts. These photographs will be used on our social media channels including this website, and for the purposes of reporting to funders. If you do not wish for your photograph to be taken, please notify a member of staff at the event.
