We are so lucky to live in a place bursting with precious flora and fauna!

Kirriemuir Wildlife Encyclopaedia

When you are out and about on your wanders, make sure to look out for some of our wonderful local wildlife. Use our encyclopaedia to know what to keep your eyes peeled for, or to find out more about the birds, bugs and animals that you have seen!

Become a Nature Detective!

Each month, we add a new seasonally relevant animal, bird, bug and tree for you to look out for!

But, the big question is, have you seen an animal, bird, bug or tree that you would like to tell us more about?

Well you can! All you have to do is fill out our template here, and email it (along with some photos of your chosen wildlife, if you have any!) to us here.

Your submitted information will be vetted by our volunteer ecologists, then we will add it to our Kirrie Wildlife Encyclopaedia.
