If you’ve been around here a while, you’ll know that one of our four main themes is Sustainable Living. Unfortunately the success of our Active Travel, Action for Nature and Food & Growing themes has meant we haven’t had the time to focus our efforts in this area for a while now. Well a few of our volunteers have decided it’s high time we did something about that, and we want your help!
Come along to Kirrie Connections on Wednesday 29th April at 7pm to hear from our volunteers about our ideas for the Sustainable Living theme, including a Repair Café and Energy Club. We’re hoping to meet with local people who have the skills to fix things up at our Repair Café, or an interest in helping us launch a local energy scheme. But mostly, we just want to see anyone who thinks make do and mend is the way forward! If this sounds like a bit of you, pop the date in your calendar and we’ll see you there.
P.S. We’ll bring the cakes, just bring yourself!
Any questions, please give us a shout at info@sustainablekirriemuir.co.uk.
