Join us for an easy, social, 12km cycle to visit Rose at her smallholding at Ballindarg, and browse her Rosehip Eco Living farm shop.

Led by Christina, our Active & Sustainable Travel Officer, we’ll head out of Kirriemuir for a 6km (each way), gentle cycle out to Rosehip Eco Living at Ballindarg. We’ll have a tour of the smallholding, with time for a brew and a browse in the farm shop before we return the way we came, back to Kirriemuir.

Please bring your bike, a drink, and dress for the weather conditions on the day. We strongly recommend wearing a helmet. There will be an opportunity to buy from Rose’s shop, so please bring cash in case you see anything you fancy!

This is a reasonably easy ride, but cyclists should be competent cycling on the road. Please contact us in advance if you have any accessibility concerns.

Children under 18 must attend with a responsible adult and be competent road cyclists with experience cycling similar distances.

Booking isn’t required, but if you plan to come along we’d love to know in advance. This is a free event but donations are welcomed to support Sustainable Kirriemuir’s Active Travel activities. You can make a cash donation on the day if you wish.

Contact us at christina@sustainablekirriemuir.co.uk with any questions.
