Join Sally and Zoe at the Community Garden again to delve into more aspects of propagation in our second workshop!

Building on our previous propagation workshop, this time we’ll be talking through more techniques and terms, including division, hardwood cuttings, seed saving and stratification.

This workshop is an opportunity for volunteers at the Community Garden to learn new skills together, with anyone else looking to learn more about propagation very welcome. We’ll take a relaxed and informal approach with plenty of opportunity for discussion blended with practical activity.

Please dress for the weather conditions on the day, and wear sturdy footwear as some of the ground in the Community Garden is uneven.

We’ll have the kelly kettle on for tea and coffee, but feel free to bring along your own drink and snack if you like.

Children under 18 must attend with a responsible adult.

Food & Growing

As part of our wider 3-5 year strategy, Sustainable Kirriemuir are taking action around Food & Growing, to help achieve our vision of a sustainable, net-zero community where people and nature flourish. This event will contribute towards our aim to provide opportunities for learning, skill-sharing and experiencing the benefits of growing food and gardening.
