Dream Festival 2022
Join us on Saturday the 11th of June from 11am to 3pm for the fantastic Dream Festival, all about youth and imagination! This is a free festival bursting with activities around creativity, nature, sports, music and even a powdered paint colour run. It costs £1 to enter our colour run, but you will get that back in a snack bag of goodies worth £2! Read more on our activities taking place throughout the day below.

We have a fantastic day of fun activities planned for young people of all ages and their families, including…

And so much more! Full programme to follow.
Entry and activities are FREE, except from the colour run which will cost just £1, BUT you will receive this back and more in a voucher for a snack bag from the Camera Obscura.
We encourage all attending to bring a picnic and a picnic blanket to enjoy for our BIG LUNCH.
Please note that the road on the hill to the carpark will be CLOSED at the junction to West Hill Road from 10am to 4pm, to ensure a safe playing space for all and room to enjoy scooters and bikes fully. West Hill Road will remain OPEN. Alternative free parking is available at Northmuir Primary School and the Kirriemuir Dental Practice (5 minute walk away), BUT we encourage all to attend on foot or by bike where possible. Please always consider your route and the hazards carefully when choosing to cycle – this is at your own discretion.
Any questions or keen to volunteer and help on the day? Email lauren@sustainablekirriemuir.co.uk or send us a direct message.
Want to get crafty and support the environment?
Then come along to make some Red Squirrel rod Puppets with social enterprise ‘How It Felt‘ for our crafting drop in sessions as part of Kirriemuir Dream Festival! We will show you step by step how to make your very own Red Squirrel puppet out of eco friendly materials.
And you can even learn about how you can support your local wildlife with the story of the ‘Leaf Thief’ with sensory storytelling.
