Wildflower Photography Competition with Botanic Isles

In July, Laura from Botanic Isles came to collect some beautiful wildflowers from our market garden at Northmuir Primary School.
As a thank you, she made and gifted us some stunning cornflower drop earrings and we are giving you guys the chance to win them in a wildflower photography competition!
All you have to do is take one or more (max. 5) high quality and artistic or creative photographs of some native wildflowers in and around Kirriemuir and send it to lauren@sustainablekirriemuir.co.uk or send us a direct message on Facebook or Instagram. If you already have some photos you have taken previously, those will do just fine!
The best photo (judged with the help of the flower experts at Botanic Isles themselves!) will win the jewellery! We might even choose the best photos to feature in a special wildflower feature on our website. What are you waiting for?! Get out and get snapping!
Only one winner will receive the jewellery pictured. The competition is open to all ages of amateur photographers. Photographs must be taken in Kirriemuir and the surrounding area. Entries must be received before 5pm on Thursday the 30th of September. The winner will be announced on Facebook and Instagram on Friday 1st of October.

We have had some beautiful entries already, including the photographs below taken by local Nicola from The Black Cat Soap House.

Laura started Botanic Isles in 2017 to give customers access to botanical jewellery that used precious metals and gems and allowed the premise of carrying a little piece of nature – something she found was missing from the jewellery market.

Nature, to Laura, is freeing, joyful and peaceful and she wanted to pass this harmony onto my customers. She wanted to create beautiful nature inspired jewellery which was an investment for the customer and was of an excellent quality, without compromising on the environment.
